The project involved using a freely available third party barcode scanning library (zxing) in an Android App to scan a product code and pull its details from the client’s database through a Web Service ( written in .Net by client) and display the details of the product on the Android phone’s screen.

Android App to help users make decisions.In survey format with an active database for computation and retrieval of user input.Flow:User selects a category of decision making(i.e.,academic,relationship) then enters 2-5 choices (i.e., School A , School B),then rates those choices (1-10 scale) based on different influential factors (i.e., Factor A, Factor B).Different algorithm per category of decision making (e.g., If academic category selected,computes 70% of Factor A, while if relationship is selected , 90% of Factor A is computed in total score.Finally, user receive a summary sheet (with percentages of all choices) and detailing the single most suitable choice.User has option to leave/view feedback.
